About Sophie Lallemand

Professional photographer specializing in wildlife and macro photography. From an early age, nature has been much more than just a playground: it has fed my imagination and shaped me. Every walk in the forest was an opportunity to marvel.

 

Passionate about wildlife, I decided to make a career out of it six years ago by embarking on biodiversity studies. I've been lucky enough to dive right into the heart of ecosystems, which has given me a better understanding of their subtleties and fragility. My studies took me to Finland during my Masters, a country that has always been a dream of mine, where I had the opportunity to immortalize unique moments of wildlife. It was then that I took the plunge and turned my passion for photography into a real profession.

 

Today, I criss-cross the wild landscapes of the Far North, from vast forests to frozen expanses, to immortalize animal life in all its splendor. Through my images, I want to share the beauty and fragility of our environment. Each photo is an invitation to discover the fascinating world around us.

 

My aim is to raise awareness of the beauty and vulnerability of all life around us, in the hope of inspiring as many people as possible to better understand, respect and protect our planet
